For nearly a decade, Pass It Along (PIA) has been at the forefront of educating and providing leadership skills through the concept of selfless service to youth in Northern New Jersey. Through innovative hands-on programs our organization helps raise awareness and promote creativity and problem-solving. Pass It Along educates youth about the pressing needs in their communities and provides a forum for them to create solutions and TAKE ACTION. Our program allows students to develop an ethic for service that, in turn, becomes a fundamental part of their lives forever. Research shows that engaging in selfless service raises self-esteem and self-confidence which in turn promotes healthier lifestyle choices.
