Born in the republic of Ivory Coast, internationally recognized and acclaimed tennis pro Marc Massaad has been playing, coaching and directing "everything tennis" in the US since 2001.

Marc's world-class athletic, coaching and strategy skills were evident when he first held a tennis racket at age 8. An exceptional talent, Marc quickly turned into a local celebrity, receiving offers to play and later instruct both in Europe and the Middle East. Fluent in several languages, Marc's formative years in the Ivory Coast and Middle East were spent focusing on tennis development and strength conditioning, which earned him success in Lebanon as a two-time Mr. World finalist.

With TV and radio commercials, magazine ads and several fashion shows in his portfolio, Marc's greater determination was to make tennis a career in an environment that did not recognize tennis as a national sport. In Lebanon, Marc met a Belgian instructor, with whom he partnered in 1998 to establish the Lebanese Academy for Tennis Development (LATD). The LATD network is comprised of more than a dozen private clubs with certified coaches, who instruct, promote and strengthen the game of tennis on a world-wide scale.

In conjunction with this milestone, Marc achieved Professional Certification by the United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) and was invited to represent Lebanon at the annual USPTR symposium in Hilton Head, SC in 2000. Marc's presence at this symposium sparked the interest of corporate sponsors, who wooed Marc to Northern NJ, where he now lives and coaches full-time.
